Great Futures Start Here, at the Stamford Boys & Girls Club, 347 Stillwater Avenue in Stamford Ct, was a 2 part project of Stamford Murals. Along with the youth artists of Stamford Murals, I delivered a grant funded after school art program meant to culminate in a collaborative mural for the club. The class was a scaling up of the Blaze Your Own Trail project in which 2 students and I designed and installed a public mural. The same 2 students helped me run this program, and, with input from the BGC students, design a mural for the front of the building. A year later, a Mayor’s Grant allowed us to return and add more color and elements, resulting in the mural that stands today.
