A Collaborative Mural by CT Artists

One of Stamford’s greatest qualities is its diversity. It is in part a transient city, bringing people from all walks of life together.

To celebrate this idea, artist Lauren Clayton has painted a mural with a team of 7 artists from all walks of life depicting crosswalk figures linked hand-to-hand. The first of two murals is located on the first-floor hallway of the northwest entrance of Bedford Street Garage at 17 Forest Street. Each iconic crosswalk figure in the garage is uniquely painted by an artist from Stamford, and neighboring cities. Artists include Tara Blackwell, Alissa Siegal, Bry Isriel, Mike Bazelais, Weverson Ponte, Mel Starsoza and Byron Soza.
