This Crane lives in Dunedin Florida, & regularly comes by a fish store for handouts. My Birds series deals with birds as advance sentinals (like folkloric canaries) of danger. I was curious about how birds are adapting to human encroachment on their environment and wanted to depict them as affected and altered by their co-exsistence with humans.
