Weir Farm is the only National Park devoted to art. It’s the former home of J. Alden Weir, American Impressionist painter. He lived there with his wife & 3 daughters, one of whom married sculptor Mahonri Young. Weir’s & Young’s studios are preserved intact in the park. I painted this on site when I lived there as artist in residence in 2019.
